A small village in the Mahadeiput district of Odisha is a small village that goes by the name of Masigam.  Here, in the middle of nowhere Rotosol solar pumps are bringing relief to farmers who are struggling to make ends meet.  With no grid connectivity and no source of water nearby, farmers find it very difficult to irrigate their farms.

Diesel operated pumps being used here drain the farmers of their profits.  Solar pumps with their zero fuel costs, has helped farmers harvest more, earn more and save more.
