Ram Surat Tripathi is a second generation farmer from the state of UP in northern India.  He’s been farming all his life and is well aware of the hardships that farmers face.  His son has watched his father struggle to make ends meet and provide him with an education.  Wanting better opportunities for his grand children, Ram Surat Tripathi decided that it was now time to modernize the way they irrigated their farm.

Replacing the old wornout diesel operated pump, is the Rotosol Solar Surface Pump.  With fuel and maintenance costs down to almost nothing, Ram Surat Tripathi hopes that his grand children will have a much better future than what he was able to provide his son.
