Vinod Raj a farmer from Khopla Village in Munger district of Bihar was a frustrated farmer.  Even after having an electric connection, crop failure was always a threat due to the erratic nature of electricity delivery to his remote village.

Now equipped with a Rotosol Solar pump, he can rest easy knowing that he now has a reliable source of electricity and a reliable mode of irrigation.  He plans to irrigate the whole of his farm land that measures 10 acres.  Vinod Raj is one of the farmers across the state of Bihar who have adopted solar pumping as their preferred mode of irrigation.
