Farmers are adopting Solar Pumps across the northern state of Bihar and all because of the governments support. One such farmer has started using the Rotosol Solar Pump and is now irrigating his 2 acre farm land without any fuel costs. Previously irrigation was being done with a diesel operated pump which are not only unreliable, but also expensive to run. This leaves small farmers with very little money. Solar pumps now allow farmers to plant and harvest multiple crops at a time and with a reliable source of water, multiple corp cycles are possible in a year.
