Radhakanta Mandala of Gobari Village in Nabarnpur district of Odisha stand in front of the newly installed 3HP Rotosol Solar Submersible Pump.  Having no electricity affects the ability of farmers to irrigate their crops in a timely manner.  By adopting a solar pump, water is available when it is required the most.  Crop failures are eliminated and this has helped farmers like Radhakanta to harvest multiple crops throughout the year.
